CUTTING (Wool)
A finishing operation which consists in passing fabric close to the blades of the cropping machine, so that all the surface fibres raised form the piece during the operation of raising are cut off, leaving a clean and level piece (also called cropping) ————————
CUTTING
A term formerly used for a heavy cotton fabric with brocade designs of floral and trailing effects.
